Exposome-Microbiome
Ongoing collaboration about the epistemic and ethical issues arising from both disciplines.
This collaboration began with a rejection of an organised symposium for the European Philosophy of Science Association in 2025, prompted by the need to study ethical and epistemic issues together through case studies in postgenomic sciences: the microbiome and exposome.
We organised our first workshop in Milan in March 2026, thanks to financial support from the Polytechnic University of Milan. We received support from Utrecht University’s Descartes Centre Seed Money to pursue this collaboration with a writeshop later this year.
